Club Only – Camping Trip (5/23 – 5/27)

Club Members -The campground will be available to us Monday May 23rd through Friday May 27th. We will have a fishing “derby” for kokanee or trout and we will be foraging. Morel mushrooms are typically coming on this time of year, along with other delectable gifts from the forest. There is fabulous fishing, hiking, easy biking, and sight-seeing. This site is located in the heart of the forest along the banks of the South Fork Tieton River, known for its enormous Dolly Vardens. There are deer, elk, coyotes, bears, and even mountain lions and bears in the area (though for the most part they stay very elusive, which is kind of how we like it! Jeff grew up in these forests and knows all the best places to go! Plan to get together for a potluck and BBQ on Wednesday night – we will provide the main dish and a glass of wine to go along with your side dishes
